Rescue & Repair
Ranging from $120 - $300+
Corrective sessions are assessed individually to determine the complexity of the work required. When repairs are extensive, a follow-up maintenance session within 4–6 weeks is advised, as lasting results are best achieved with continued care. Session length depends on the work required and can range from one to four or more hours.
Synthetic Extension Install (Temporary Styling)

Synthetic extensions are braided in a clean, secure, and professional style, designed to be worn for 4–8 weeks. An average full install typically uses around 50 extensions, though the exact number varies based on hair density and desired fullness. Sessions generally last between 4–6 hours. Extensions are not included in the service fee and must be purchased separately.

Consultation

Consultations are designed to discuss your hair, goals, and the best path forward before booking a full service. Sessions last up to one hour and are conducted virtually, via Instagram (@dreadlock.odyssey), Messenger, or text. This allows us to review your hair situation, explore styling options, and determine the most suitable service for your needs.
Loc Comb Out
$500 flat rate
This service carefully removes natural dreadlocks while preserving the health and integrity of your hair. Each session is tailored to the density, length, and maturity of your locs to ensure a smooth and controlled process. The comb-out is performed with attention to minimizing breakage, leaving your hair manageable and ready for future styles. This work can be done in up to three separate sessions.
Added Extensions to Existing Locs
Ranging from $150-$300
This service adds synthetic or human hair extensions to the ends of existing dreadlocks, creating extra length, volume, or visual impact. The service fee does not include the cost of the extensions themselves, which must be purchased separately. Adding extensions typically adds two to three hours to a new loc install session, or it can be performed on established locs. Dreadlock Odyssey is a mobile service. In addition to the service fee, a travel fee is calculated according to your appointment location, and added to your final quote. For clients in the same area who book on the same day, travel costs can be shared, making appointments more accessible, while providing a reduced travel rate.
