Dreadlock Odyssey takes every precaution necessary to limit the exposure and spread of colds, flus and other communicable diseases. The same due diligence is expected from clients. You, too, should take preventative measures to keep everyone healthy and safe.
Health & Safety Guidelines
Book in advance: To ensure a pleasant experience, please schedule your appointment ahead of time.
Limit household visitors: For everyone’s comfort and safety, I kindly ask that you keep the number of people in your home to a minimum. If friends or family are visiting, it’s best to reschedule.
Prepare your space: Please have a clean, well lit and low-traffic area ready for your appointment. A clear, organized space helps us work efficiently and comfortably.
Health first: If you or anyone in your household has been sick (including COVID-19) within the two weeks prior to your appointment, I ask that you reschedule. Your health and mine are a priority.
Personal comfort: Make sure you have water, snacks, or anything else you might need during your appointment. Staying comfortable makes for a relaxed, enjoyable session.
Hair care prep: Please ensure your hair is dry, clean and free of heavy products before your appointment, unless otherwise discussed. This helps your dreadlocks start fresh and healthy.
Pets: Pets are always welcome—they’re all adorable! To help keep the session running smoothly, please ensure they are safely occupied and not a distraction during your appointment.
Security deposit
Being a mobile loctician is a wonderful thing. Traveling two hours to find out that you're suddenly unavailable for your appointment is NOT. To help keep scheduling smooth for everyone, a $50 non-refundable security deposit is required for new clients, as well as for existing clients who have previously cancelled without notice. Appointment dates are only held once a deposit has been received, so please have it ready when booking.
Once your deposit is received, please also provide your full name, address, email address, and phone number to complete your booking details. This helps ensure that I have everything needed for your appointment and travel arrangements.
I completely understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule after receiving your confirmation, your deposit can be applied to the new date. Please note that clients who repeatedly cancel or miss appointments without notice will forfeit their deposit.
Deposits remain valid until the end of the year.

I accept cash and electronic money transfers (EMT). Prompt payment of both the deposit and remaining balance helps your appointment proceed seamlessly and keeps the booking process running smoothly. Your timely cooperation is sincerely appreciated, allowing me to focus on delivering the highest quality service and creating the best possible experience for you.
I understand that life happens, and occasional delays can occur. I’m happy to discuss flexible arrangements when needed. That said, unpaid invoices at the end of the year may be referred to a collection agency—a step I take only to ensure fairness, consistency, and the ongoing operation of my services . Bringing professional dreadlock care right to your home is perfect for parents (no babysitter required!), work-from-home professionals, those without easy access to transportation, or anyone in the neurodiverse community who feels most comfortable at home.
